This alley in Modeligo (near Cappoquin) was built sometime in 1930-40s. It was replastered and wire netting was added on the top of the walls in 1950s. The site was provided by the Farrell family, who are still farming the surrounding land today. It is used infrequently today, mostly for hurling.
