Photographed by E. Timoney, August 2010 and May 2024 (upper photographs) There are 4 alleys at this location, 2 pairs of back-to-back alleys. Two local men informed E. Timoney in May 2024 that they recalled great handballers playing at these alleys, including a Fr. Murray. There were once 180 student priests at the college. Among the sport facilities was a hurling pitch, Gaelic footballl pitch, rugby pitch, soccer pitch, and an outdoor swimming pool at the river.
